Evergrowth Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all Evergrowth software products and Business Central extensions, including DimLogic, EGLogger, and any future AppSource offerings.

Company: 1319988 Alberta Ltd. o/a Evergrowth Consulting, a Canadian corporation operating in the Province of Alberta.

1. Overview

1319988 Alberta Ltd. o/a Evergrowth Consulting (“Evergrowth”, “we”, “us”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of information processed through our software products and services (“Services”).

This Privacy Policy explains:

  • what information we collect;
  • how we collect it;
  • how we use, store, and protect it;
  • the rights of individuals and organizations regarding that information.

This Privacy Policy complies with:

  • the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA);
  • the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA);
  • applicable international privacy laws where required;
  • the Microsoft Commercial Marketplace Publisher Agreement.

2. Information We Collect

Evergrowth designs its Business Central extensions to operate entirely inside the Customer’s Microsoft tenant.

We collect no business data, no personal data, and no financial data unless explicitly provided by the Customer for support purposes.

We collect only the following categories of information:

2.1 Product Telemetry (Pseudonymized / Non-Personal)

Our software may collect technical telemetry, including:

  • extension version;
  • execution paths and logic conditions;
  • dimension rule evaluations (hashed or pseudonymized);
  • performance timings;
  • non-personal error details;
  • feature usage and activation events;
  • general environment metadata (region, BC version).

We do not collect:

  • customer names, vendor names, employee data;
  • ledger entries or amounts;
  • document numbers;
  • identifiable user data;
  • personal information of any kind.

Telemetry is used solely to improve reliability, performance, supportability, and product quality.

2.2 Customer-Provided Information (Support Only)

If a Customer contacts support and chooses to provide logs, screenshots, or examples, those may include personal or business data.

Evergrowth:

  • does not request such data by default;
  • deletes it once the support incident is resolved;
  • protects all received data under confidentiality.

2.3 Website Metadata (Standard Web Logs)

If Customer visits evergrowth.ca or related static sites, standard web logs may be collected:

  • browser type;
  • IP address;
  • access timestamps;
  • referring URLs.

This information is non-identifying and used for website operation.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely for:

  • improving product performance and reliability;
  • diagnosing issues;
  • guiding product development;
  • providing technical support;
  • preventing abuse or unauthorized use;
  • fulfilling legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not:

  • sell data;
  • share customer data with advertisers;
  • use data to profile users;
  • enrich third-party datasets.

3.1 Telemetry and Technical Data

Evergrowth software products may collect limited technical telemetry to support product reliability, diagnostics, and ongoing improvement. The collection and use of such data is governed by this Privacy Policy.

4. Where Data Is Stored

Evergrowth stores telemetry and support data (if any) within:

  • Microsoft Azure, in regions appropriate to AppSource requirements.

Evergrowth does not store Customer business data outside the Customer’s Business Central environment.

5. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose information only:

  1. To Microsoft, for AppSource support or platform compliance.
  2. To legal authorities, if required by law or court order.
  3. To service providers (e.g., Azure), solely for hosting or operational purposes.

We will never disclose Customer data for any purpose inconsistent with this Policy.

6. Data Retention

  • Telemetry is retained for up to 13 months unless aggregated into non-identifying analytics.
  • Support data is deleted once a case is resolved, unless Customer requests otherwise.
  • Logs required for legal or security purposes may be retained as mandated.

7. Security

Evergrowth employs:

  • Microsoft Azure security controls;
  • restricted administrative access;
  • encrypted storage where applicable;
  • secure development practices;
  • audit logging for administrative actions.

Customer is responsible for maintaining security within their own Business Central tenant.

8. Customer & User Rights

Under PIPA and PIPEDA, individuals have the right to:

  • request access to any personal information Evergrowth holds;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • withdraw consent where applicable;
  • inquire about data handling practices;
  • file complaints or express concerns.

If personal information is inadvertently received (e.g., via support email), it is handled in accordance with this Policy.

9. Children’s Privacy

Evergrowth products are designed for professional use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. International Transfers

Evergrowth is a Canadian corporation. Data processed in Microsoft Azure may be transferred between Azure regions in compliance with:

  • Microsoft data residency commitments;
  • applicable privacy laws.

We do not transfer data to jurisdictions lacking adequate privacy protections unless required by Azure infrastructure and subject to safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

Evergrowth may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Effective Date” will be updated and the revised version posted to our website.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
